Ross senior Frey W.’s film “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” received the First Place Award at The Open Mind Film Festival. Judges noted that they were impressed with Frey’s artistry and inventive, creative presentation. “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” is a music video that subversively reinterprets Cyndi Lauper's 1983 hit for the twenty-first century and was part of Frey’s Senior Project.
