Thank you to all of the Ross Lower School students and families who participated in the first annual Spring Cleanup at the Peconic Land Trust's Bridge Gardens on Friday. Volunteers assisted Rick Bogusch, who has taken care of Bridge Gardens for over a decade and has overseen its 20-plus community garden plots, in cleaning up the garden and orchards in preparation for the Spring season.
The event was organized by Ross PA Environmental Committee as part of a new parent-led series of after-school environmental awareness programs. It also marked the first of a variety of educational programs that will be held at Bridge Gardens.
