The Field Academy trip to Kenya, "Understanding the Human-Environment Interaction Through Service Work," explored the country of Kenya through the lens of environmental conservation and cultural immersion.
Students were introduced to the Maasai tribe, which struggles to preserve their culture while learning to embrace globalization. Their belief that we come to nature and return to it defines their customs and traditions.
