The Ross Field Academy course New York City: Wonders of the Big Apple focused on studying New York City as an immigrant and ethnic mecca.

Students visited historical sites, cultural events, and sampled a wide array of ethnic eateries from falafel and shish-kabob on the street to tucked-away restaurants in a variety of ethnic neighborhoods.
