Go Far Field Academy students are learning a gentle acupuncture technique called Jin Shin Jyutsu (with Susan Denis), a Japanese healing practice. It was accompanied by a Crystal Singing Bowl (by Maria Maier). Jin Shin Jyutsu uses touch and gentle pressure and is an accessible way to practice self-care. The Go Far Field Academy students in grades 7 and 8 have responded very well to the workshop and participated with great focus. They were interested to learn how their thumb and different fingers are related to their internal organs and various emotions.
